English studio pottery bowl

Found this at an op-shop in Australia years ago. Never have worked out the signature, although someone has suggested that it may be Denise Wren (it doesn't match other marks I have seen of hers). Any ideas?

 

Might be Denby Ware. Aka, Danesby Ware.

I've just been reading about this pottery now that I know what it is. It's such a sweet little pot that lives at the back of a deep cupboard and has almost been sent back to the op shop several times when I have a clean out, but in the end I have always liked it. I have spent a small fortune over the years on nothing special from the $2 table so it's nice to find something that actually has an interesting history. Thanks again Houseful.
