So, have been doing the last bit of sorting of my parents' stuff and through a pile of programmes and souvenir booklets, etc. that my Mom kept. Most I've put in the recycle bin, some I'm going to see if there are any that archives may want, but some are quite old, 1940s/50s. Lauritz Melchior (an opera singer), Tommy Trinder and his Royal Command Music Hall Varieties, Erna Sack (a soprano) and Artur Rubinstein (pianist). There is also a program of a dinner theatre (The Cirque in Seattle) signed by Nanette Fabray. Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions of who might be interested? I kind of hate to recycle old stuff, but I've also got to move stuff along. ;):(

I'll take some pix of the Cirque one and post later (I'm just up for breakfast!) but I dunno that Nanette Fabray's autograph would fetch anything. I remember going to the Cirque with my Mom and seeing Van Johnson in some farcical comedy. That was nearly 40 years ago!!

Here is a link to Erna Sack singing Ciriribin; my Mom had an old 78 recording of it. Apparently Erna had an incredible singing range.

Is The Cirque the predecessor of Teatro Zinzani?

Nanette Fabray was pretty well known back in the day, but my memory of what she did is pretty well gone!
