Erotic buddha

I saw a sitting buddha statue at a flea market. It was around the size of a tea pot. Underneath the buddha there was a picture / carving of a couple doing you know what.

I didn't buy it because I wasn't sure what the material was. It was black, semi-glossy and I saw some bubbles near the base like you might find in a cast piece. It felt slightly cold to the touch though so I don't think it was plastic. It wasn't heavy enough to be metal nor did it sound like it was ceramic. What material could it be?

 

Could be polystone, resin mixed with ground stone.

 

It didn't feel like polystone to me. Could be though.

If I remember correctly, it looked like that one, except it was shiny black without the lighter / brown areas.

 

Seems they make this type of resin model in many different colors.
I also found a smaller wood one....with a very similar erotic scene on the bottom.

( which i will not post because of the sensibilities of our mature female members...)

You can go into any gift shop in Athens and buy bottle openers, key chains, statuettes, etc. of the Greek god Priapus. Right next to lollipops and comic books for kids.

And this statue is on the main highway from Brussels to Kortrijk, Belgium. It's been there for 3 or 4 years.

 

Americans are really very prudish compared to everywhere else.

 

We're all over 21. Post as a thumbnail and those with delicate sensibilities don't have to see it. (some of us will anyway out of prurient curiosity)
