ESTATE SALE FIND - 1949 PAINTING SIGNED GIRWIN? G. IRWIN?

    I found this last week at a pop up estate/yard sale. I liked it as soon as I saw it; I thought it has..."it"!
    I think it's an abstract - or maybe a impressionism? To me the signature looks like Girwin? Or maybe G. Irwin?
    Does anyone know what the signature is - or who the artist it?
    Is the painting as good as I think?

    LOVE it! I think the style is called expressionism.Is there something written on the bottom left?
