I was off line today, double flu and Covid shots made me miserable until about 4PM. I was never going to make this one but... don't I wish!

 

Look on the bright side; you haven't spent any money.

(Somehow that doesn't sound as soothing as it was meant...)

 

@evelyb30 -- hope you're feeling better. I hope to get the double covid/flu vaccine here soon.

 

Spent $20 today, but on the literal Mother Lode. As in silver I had to weight on my package scale and a .. Newcome College vase. I'll have to post photos of that. Told someone else to buy the Waterford champagne flutes... $5 for the whole box. (LOL) Nice young couple.

 

Going to get mine a week from Monday. I've never had a reaction from either other than a sore arm, hopefully the double shot won't give me any problems!

 

I always react, might be the hyperactive MS getting into the game. Hope it doesn't nail you but still works. One cool thing they used were some new band-aids. Foam circles with a mesh over the top. Slapped 'em on my arms first and shot the needle through them. No more tape or cotton gauze wads.

 

Nice things! I just moved into an apartment that has less room than my house did. So, am not adding anything to the hoard unless it is something functional that I need!

I got my flu shot and had no reaction. Usually after that shot, I cough for a few weeks. I got the old lady version of the flu shot which is more potent for us 65 plus. I want the shot that will turn me back to when I was in my 40's...

Will get my 5th shot of the vax after my dr visit next week and after Yom Kippur.
I had a reaction to all the vaxes and boosters, waking up with the shakes in the middle of the night and headaches. But I have so many migraines it is hard to say if it was the booster or not. But the shakes were new.. I took some tylenol and that helped. Going to go back to Walgreens and get my Moderna shot as soon as I can.

 

wait till your 11th shot...by then the side effects should be mild...
