Hi folks.....something i picked up today, swooned a bit when i saw it, looked sumptuous

colour is like a reddish and amber

it is REALLY thick glass, weight a tonne (exaggeration) but heavy

suppose you would call it a goblet ?

any ideas of a maker, period etc

    any thoughts appreciated

Nineteenth century bohemian, absolutely and it has a Moser look to it. The colour and that chunky cut. Those hunting scenes were very popular. Probably schnapps. Lovely thing.

With those Stags I'm guessing German.
Either mulled wine (Gluhwein) or Jägermeister

winners so far schnapps or jagermeister........or maybe both together :woot:

Buckfast was my favourite wine (beautiful sweet sweet wine) (and loopy juice:wacky:)

used to be £3.50 when i drank it.............its about £15 a bottle now

I literally gasp when I saw your picture. I think 1850ish. Never seen a foot like that in the wild. Great find!

To be a bit anal (as I tend to get) - this looks wheel cut, not etched. Might help in tracking down a maker - might not. Gorgeous piece!

Maybe Biedermeier era German/Austrian/Bohemian origin? Just a guess.
