Etching? Amazing details! What is this?

    Might not be an intaglio print. Have you had it out of the frame? Seems to be a copy of a Michelangelo drawing: Prudence

    I remember being told that Michelangelo was ever the sculptor and his drawings appear to be composed of chisel strokes.

    I have not had it out of the frame. It's sealed in there pretty well. I'm not seeing any dots though, as if it were just printed

    I did an image search. There's a good chance that the drawing was rendered as an etching at some time, but I don't know that it was. A reproduction, especially a modern one, wouldn't necessarily show any dot matrix.
