This was in a junk lot a while back, missing a pin, so I added one. It's Middle Eastern of some sort, I'd welcome thoughts on it. May be gold, not got round to testing. Gut feel is early 20th. Ish.

The star and crescent design says Middle Eastern, no question. North African?

I dunno, could be. Although star and crescent is Turkey, too. The enamel is nice. Dangles are meant to be sort of coins I think.

No tugrahs on the coins though, so I was thinking Alergia, Morocco, Tunisia etc. But ... who knows.

The coins I would describe as decorative, you can buy "Belly Dancer" coins on eBay.

In that position I would say an Islamic symbol, Mauritania or Pakistan
