I know we all love each other so much here that you'd never want to ignore anyone, am I right? But, even with the closest of families, sometimes you just need to take a break. I often tell my kids to ignore each other (they like to tease), but it doesn't work.

Have a look at this page:
    http://www.antiquers.com/account/ignored

You can add someone to that list, and voila, their posts aren't in your face anymore. Like magic. Got over it? Just go ahead and remove them from the list, and they're right back where they always were.

    Use it wisely! :)

Well I can not imagine anyone using the ignore button here? After all,we have escaped the one that needed it ;)

    PS
Well,if I suddenly feel like I am posting to the wall I guess it will be used? :wideyed::depressed::dead::bigtears:

As this is an open forum, I think it is a judicious decision to offer the ignore option, Thank you Peter.

Thank you, Peter. What I wonder is why you can offer us an "ignore" feature, whereas ebay/Lithium apparently can't. ;)

I haven't wanted to "unsee" any posts since I left Ebay and the troll behind.

When eBlech had it ,a certain number of PT regulars tried using it to ward off a paranoid poster.
At 1st it worked but when others would reply to her , the threads would read like a one sided phone call......it lost all context ....& you couldn't tell who was saying what to whom.....like a shouting match......so it never really worked.

    Hi Peter,
Thank you for the offering. I do not think I will use it but I am sure that someone here will use on me.

Nice to have available just in case, God Forbid, "It" shows up here in disguise or whatever, and those who can fix "It" retire in the unpredictable future. The whole episode over there where "It" showed up, I guess from outer space and eventually somehow took complete control of the mods there, turning them into mindless zombies if they were not so already, was unsettling.
