EXPENSIVE (FOR ME) LARGE NUDE PAINTING - HELP w/ARTIST'S NAME?

Got this today out of a storage unit full of paintings & antiques - the guy was moving and selling everything by Monday (he gave me a couple of steamer ship prints + a 1/2 dozen frames for free trying to empty place).
I bought this for $150 - thoughts?
Also, if anyone can tell me artist's name (and hopefully that he's known!_, it would be greatly appreciated..

PS - The painting itself measures 30" x 23" - The signature has a date that looks like 03 or 93 - or possibly 43(?) which is the era the woman looks like she's from to me.
PSS - I also got this cool 4" x 3" miniature hand painted stone? tile? of a old woman for only $20 - I've seen those sell for a lot, but it's not signed?

I'm sorry, I have to chuckle just a tiny bit when I say 'men and their nudes' (in jest), BUT I also have to say her face looks SO familiar and I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!!! Is she an actress....would anyone know?????

Great posture, but sure hope she didn't have to hold that pose for long at a time. At least her knees didn't get cold.

 

The nude painting is by an unknown artist you will be lucky to get your money back on that. The second looks to be a lithograph of a painting.

You should make sure you look up the artist before you fork out 150.00 and just hoping it's by a well known artist. Unless your planning on keeping it.

What does the back of the nude painting look like?

 

Some printer took a lot of liberty with the lipstick & the rouge. Many reproductions seem to have quite red lips, but not all have this rosebud complexion. He looks rather sallow in most.
