image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I've been eyeballing this for a few months. The seller gave me a price of $75. I didn't see a problem with that. All I could see were the people dancing. I had no clue what was on the top of the painting. Once we got it down and unrolled it, I was shocked the see the Talimadge Bridge and City Hall. This piece is about 12ftx10ft. Heck it may be larger than that. It is signed C.Best 2003. It appears it was done for a church. It surely has a great rythm of the City of Savannah. The figures dancing are striking poses. I have no room to hang this.

I'm going to contact the church, Branded Heart Ministries, to see if the can identify the artist. SALT Teen Ministries is a part of Branded Hearts. The Ministry does have a choir, dance classes. I would love to know what this painting was displayed for. I'm holding onto this one. Wish I could display it but it's way to large. Heck, I would need a gallery to display this.

I just contacted Branded Hearts Ministries and they know exactly who the artist is. I'm waiting for an email from Branded Hesrts Ministries to confirm the artist. Supposedly, the artist has done more art in Savannah. I'm hoping that he is a noted artist. I'm crossing my fingers. It's nice to finally have confirmation of the artist for this piece.

I contacted Branded Hearts Ministries again and they are trying to find a number for the artist. By what they said, this artist is or was connected with SCAD, Savannah College of Arts and Design.

I'm assuming that the artist must have been faculty of some sort or a very well known artist, that SCAD would keep contact information about this artist and it's been 12 yrs since this piece was done.
