F.A. Walter

Does anyone here know anything about this photographer? The only information I find is through the Library of Congress.

How do I get something like this appraised?

Awesome. Mine doesn't have the stamp though. It could be a reproduction but it looks like an original photo.

 

Here's a 1914 ad. Advertises himself as a photographer, not art dealer, which doesn't mean it's not a print but would lead me to believe it wasn't.

Unless there is a title or subject on the OP's photograph somewhere that has not been mentioned I would be hesitant to use an America's Cup race picture (particularly one with an identified vessel) as a strong indication of current value.
