    IMG_9166.JPG IMG_9167.JPG I'm thinking it's likely a decorative/factory type of art?

I wouldn't think this is factory painting. Love the horse. It's an entertaining image.

I would certainly think of it as a "decorative" painting (which implies factory manufacture.)

Is the style "borrowed" from someone?

My cousin went on a lot of cruises and bought paintings on each one. Many cruises have what I want to call 'trunk shows' where they have a pet artist on board who sells art to the passengers. It's a step above factory paintings, but it's still mass-produced. The company that runs the auctions is called Park West. Each artist has a style that they paint over and over. It's not necessarily bad art, just quantity.

I don't know if it's the same Park West Gallery, but the one I know is a high end one. So, they sell mass produced artwork painted on ships!

The art my cousin bought was not cheap, either. Each painting cost several thousand dollars.

I think you are confusing things. Parks West runs auctions on ships but not with artwork done on ships.
Wow at a mass produced painting selling for few K's.
