Hello...just picked this up a few days ago and have had no luck establishing the maker of the serving platter. I ran into a a few plates online but no mention of the company. Any help is appreciated.

Well, it's not faience, despite what it says on the maker's logo. More likely transferware. With French as the language, the translation of "faience" no doubt means something else in this case.

Lost my internet for a bit, in case this pops up twice. It's Ashworth's Chinese pattern with what is probably an importer's mark. I think.

Are there some other marks? Impressed perhaps? I think faience in French means earthenware so first quality English earthenware roughly. Anyway, here is a listing showing this pattern with various marks including yours and saying it's Ashworth.

In addition, I just examined the Ebay piece and found that the design is only similar and not an exact match. Don't really know what that means...
