    Hi again.

I have brought home a few plates over the last while but this one looks to be quality and different.

Is it a chinese famille rose plate/dish?

    It is approx 9 inches in diameter JPEG_20240117_215805_resize_17.jpg JPEG_20240117_215830_resize_35.jpg JPEG_20240117_215905_resize_82.jpg JPEG_20240117_215928_resize_32.jpg JPEG_20240117_215948_resize_77.jpg JPEG_20240117_220034_resize_32.jpg

    Thank you all

Famille rose or medallion rose with it being all flora and no people. The orange tinge to the foot rim makes me think it has some age. Perhaps late 19th C.

For what it's worth, I would suggest possibly 18th century - Qianlong or Yongzheng.

How can you tell the difference between 18th and 19th century?
    Thanks for info

The cavetto decoration of alternating cartouches of flowers (usually Peony) is often found on plates dating from the C18th.

Well, great that it is possibly 18th c! Nice plate -- I do like the sparser decoration than I've seen in a lot of famille rose wares. And your photos are great and thank you for the dimension!

Its in not too bad of shape either now knowing how old it is.theres an old hairline crack to part of the rim but not bad for age id say.would it be described as a plate or dish does anyone know?

I'd call it a plate as it's too shallow to be a bowl.
