Featured Fell in love with the glaze on this vase

    Would it be American? Mid century ish? Estate had some nice pottery, this one isn’t signed. Couple chips on the base and the top is grimey but I really love the color. A cross between turquoise, sea foam, and celadon almost. Is it a tin glaze?     I'm thinking along the lines of Southern pottery, 1930ish, 1940ish.
    I'm scrolling through an image search of North Carolina pottery right now, specifically Cole. It's slow going though, too much eye candy, I keep clicking on links. :joyful:

    Looks like J.B. Cole North Carolina Pottery. There is a Southern Pottery group on FB that could verify if it is or isn't.

    Well that would be an unfortunate match only because their stuff isn’t worth much it seems. They made some nice pottery though. Thanks for looking around for me. Sorry about all that time stealing eye candy! Edit: still love it though.
