    I'd look to Indonesia or the Philippines. Lots of this stuff made for tourists and for export.

    There was a store in the shopping mall by me that had tons of carvings like that from Indonesia. I was really impressed by the detail of some of them. It was even more shocking how fast they crank this stuff out?!? And reletively inexpensive
