Was over at the thrift today and only had a few minutes, was thinking I should not get this figure, but this particular thrift allows returns, so thought I'd just get it and go home and do some research.

Now thinking it is probably a return, but maybe some of us can use it as a learning tool.

9" high, very heavy, just under 2lbs. At first I thought it was metal, but once home I could see some damage and the material underneath is sort of porous, like stone.

Soapstone? If yes seems like this type of thing is fairly common and not a great resale piece, ...or??

    Thanks for taking a look.

The chip and bubble holes look like resin.

I agree, bubbles, and resin. Nicer than many, but....
