This super blood red glazed vase turned up in a mixed auction lot. It stands 28cm (11" tall). It is earthenware. I don't think I will be able to identify it but just wondered if anybody recognised the distinctive neck shape. IMG_6785.jpeg IMG_6788.jpeg IMG_6787.jpeg

Think it might be missing a stopper.

That looks like high fired stoneware/porcelain, not earthenware to me

agree with cluttered - missing stopper.

I thought about a stopper perhaps. It's not porcelain though.

White stoneware then. I don't believe you can fire this glaze on earthenware. It's a high-fired glaze.
