Purchased this from a gentleman who told me his grandmother had purchased it at an auction in NYC. He estimated anytime as far back as 20's or as late as the 40's. I don't know if the oldschool faux logs came with it.. they plug in, bulbs light up red, and two little fans sit atop a needle and slowly turn to simulate a fire effect, pretty cool. The floor base piece says ' made in Finland' underneath. Unfortunately, only half of the original sticker on the back of the mantel remains. Just wondering if anyone knew what the full name of the company was, something ' Arts Inc NYC'. Any input on the mantel is appreciated, thanks IMG_20200726_163358774.jpg 00I0I_KlDn3iq4nD_1200x900.jpg IMG_20200726_163555435.jpg IMG_20200726_162642219.jpg IMG_20200726_162822921.jpg IMG_20200726_162646948.jpg IMG_20200726_160723523.jpg IMG_20200726_160541094.jpg IMG_20200726_163255594.jpg IMG_20200726_162841809.jpg

Aka Majestic Decorative Arts. Produced radio and tv cabinets in the 1930s and 1940s. Worked with plywood. Maker of this faux fireplace surround.

    Isn't the internet wonderful? (Rhetorical.)
