I bought this 3 days ago and it is signed Sanders . Does anyone know how many artist are named Sanders that do similar work ? Or does anyone know which sanders painted this one ?

Boy,theres a zillion Sanders who were artists ! I almost dismissed this painting at 1st glance,I dont usually like maritime themes much,but upon really looking at it I love it. Whomever painted it was very good.

Thanks everyone . I had to post this because that retired Doctor is coming over tomorrow to buy a few of my paintings. Should I hold off on selling this one to him or could this painting be worth thousands or more ? I know it's hard to find which Sanders painted this but, the technique and colors are amazing . Any type of replies are welcomed .

I've tried to find the artist, but didn't come up with works by a Sanders with this style. The way the signature was done makes me think it's possibly a woman artist, but that's just a guess.

If it were me, I think I'd want to research it further before selling the painting. You could always tell the Doctor it may be available later.
