0412191634.jpg 0412191635.jpg 0412191635a.jpg 0412191642.jpg I have recently got some dolls. Six are from Spain and one I think is from India? (but not sure).

Blue dress with fan - Luisa Campana (ref 423)
both Male dancers - Antonio Aracens (ref 481)
The others have lost their tags.

I was looking for more on the one I think is Indian.

1960s. I always thought they were modeled on Jackie Kennedy who was much admired in Spain then.

About that Indian Doll you purchased recently, it is a wooden one, depicting the traditional dress of Himachal Pradesh. And it's around 1970 I guess.

Oh wow, I have never seen that photo. I have always seen her in traditional "Jackie O" attire.

Seville Fair. 1966. What really impressed the Spaniards was this.
