Hello all. Found this piece and would like some help identifying it. There is a mark on the bottom but I cannot make the entire text out. I think it's from Pennsylvania. The dimensions for the bowl are as follows:
    26" top circumference
    8" top width
    3" H at apex
2" H at bottom of apex
    17" bottom circumference
    5.25" width.
It appears to have dirt spots but under magnifier appears to be some loss of decoration.
    Can anyone identify the piece?
    What is it made of?
Is it losing, flaking some of its decoration?
How to clean and take care of it?

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

I'd guess fiberglass and maybe from the '50s.

I think these are actually plastic although base does look fiberglass-ish

@Dlf you may want to check the spelling of 'bowl' in your title.:)
I thought it was a medical thread.;)

Can use it as a bed pan or in your out house. It is biodegradable material.

I too thought we were in for some medical stuff.

What I see are white poppies. I think they are in low-relief, Majolica style, and from what I knew of fibreglass construction, this would be hard to achieve.

The attached is from Multi-products Inc., and Etsy has one for €15 and another for €35. So it is pressed wood, as anundverkaufen said. I like it.

@Dlf & @Any Jewelry , I was laughing , hard, my first thought was , well, that's better than what Stymy from "Our Gang" (Little Rascals) would say ..."Boy , you don't smell like no Petunia's" made worse by being in the "Reading Room" ( Wink wink, nudge nudge) when I read it .... Yes , I know , TMI, TMI...........
