    Hi!

I’m hoping someone can help give me some information or an idea as to the “style” and possible age of this mirror.

There is some very minor oxidization in some areas, and I can’t tell if the mirror is original.

I was thinking 70s possibly, but I was not sure.

    Any info would help!

Certainly Arts & Crafts in feeling. But old or new? Dunno.

It looks like a traditonal mirror that some gussied up with pyrography . Maybe in the early 1900s . Its very pretty .

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

When I look at this mirror, agreeing with johnnycb09 as well, pyrography and the ribbon and corner square 'rosettes' were added.....my Grandmother was doing some of that (although not adding external pieces) back in the 1940's.....this piece feels somewhat newer, I think....'50's?? I like very much!! WELCOME to ANTIQUERS @metube!!

Here's one called 'Arts & Crafts Hand Carved Pyrography Mirror' c. 1910 but Art Nouveau in feeling.

    Great info, thanks!

Do you think it is of any value? My wife wants it gone lol. I was thinking of using it as a mirror in the basement washroom.

She prefers a more “modern” look so everything old goes in the basement :)

Oh that would be a shame to part with it ! Id tuck it away for the day when invariably her taste will change . 30 years ago I was ALL about Victorian, the more gilded and fussy the better. :)
