Flow blue plate, any idea on the maker? English?

    Warranted Staffordshire Clew(s)? Wouldn't call this flow blue, but just a dark blue transfer.

    oh yeah good call. I couldnt tell if there was an "s" there in Clews or maybe its &?

    I agree that this particular plate is more appropriately called transferware, not flow blue. Most flow blue are a kind of transferware but some were hand-painted. The blues of your transfer haven't "flowed" significantly enough to warrant the designation as flow blue.
