    Hello to everyone
I'm new here and I found some nice pieces in a deserted antique store.
This is a brass fruit or flower pot I think I'm not really sure but I'd like to know what it is and maybe how old it is. There are no markings on it.

it's a jardinière. without a mark it's hard to say who made it. stylewise around 1900.

An arm could be missing from the candleholder.

    Ok thanks!
Yes I was aware that an arm might be missing but there doesn't seem to be something missing or broken on it.

Is that one arm inserted into one of the many slots seen in the enlarged photo?

There are many slots......missing many arms?

I'm really no help here.....just guessing......wait for others.

    Welcome, Chris.
Jardinière is a fancy name for a planter, so you put plants in them. That is why there is a separate tray inside, to protect the decorative part against moisture.
