Featured Found yet another sale

I was thinking of getting my crazy on and hitting one that's 45 minutes away. This one's a lot closer, but the jewelry doesn't look nearly as good.

There are a few companies by me that always have clean sales like this one. I probably miss a few items by avoiding them because of some hidden gems. I like the ones that you need to don a hazmat suit before entering.

 

This company does those too. The ones where nobody cleaned up nothin' are usually the best. In this case the house was for sale before the estate sale started, so the place got picked up. A lot of good things probably went bye-bye, but those lanterns looked intriguing. Fireman's stuff maybe? Better still it's a single-story house, meaning I'm only locked out of the basement.

 

That Italian cat planter is super, I'd keep that. Nice art too.

 

The enamel ware pot if in good condition could bring good money.

 

Update if you do go to this. Looks like some nice stuff, although if the jewelry is not as good it might not be worth it to you.

 

You never know with these things. I went to one sale in a condo with not much jewelry. One piece "the family didn't want" was a 14k pocket watch (late 20s and busted) with a nice 14k chain. For $30. So I go anyway.

 

That's true. I went to a sale in a clean condo and found a shoe box full of electronic components for $1 and sold contents for $1000.

 

Yep. It makes me wonder what sort of "junk" they tossed out!
