Free - European Wandersjahr Iron Sew-on Country Patches

The local Re-Store is managed by a woman I'd class as an idiot. She threw these in the trash, but I knew someone here would love to re-home them. They're from 8 different countries. Some are iron-ons but some are sew-ons. They look like the sort of things kids backpacking through Europe in the 70s and 80s would buy as souvenirs. If you want them, yell. If I get more than one name I'll pick one "out of a hat" on Sunday and kick them out the door. Since I can toss these in a regular first class envelope it's open to folks overseas too.

These look like the patches I still have from my mom and dad. They collected these and put them on a backpack that they carried me in. The joke (and probabaly seriously cause of cloth diapers) I peed down someone's back in every country overseas. The backpack didn't make it but the patches did.

Much like komokwa recent knife acquisition, I think AJefferson is the perfect person to give these patches a forever home.

I GOT A PACKAGE ... and it came with a cute home made card. My baby had to sniff it.


I also found mine as well. The US is the oldest and most worn. The Mexico one was the last one they got.

You're welcome! I didn't even know some of those were in there. Glad to know they escaped a trip to the dump and found a good home.

I have some of those. I collected them when we used to take our basketball team overseas. I sewed them on my team jacket. I should find it and offer them here!
