I found in one of my mom's boxes that have not been in storage since the 1990s a frosty white to pink vase with vertical line pattern. It has like a smooth silky feel and the top reminds me of a flower with the hole resembling the stima I am guessing. The dimensions are 3" diameter top, 2 7/8" diameter bottom and an 8" height. Like to know the company, pattern and era. I hope its worth something. Thank you for your help in this request. Rob

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I don't know the answers to your questions. With those dimensions I'd call it a bud vase.

That is what my mom called it, too. A bud vase. Thank you. Rob

I think I can add the word ribbed to the description. Is this pink milk glass and is the flower in the form of a peace lily? Thank you. Rob

I don't think it's milk glass, because that is usually opaque and this looks more translucent. Those who know more about glass than I do will be able to say what that is called.

I'm not sure whether it's meant to be a peace lily or not.

Satinized pink glass likely machine blown in quantity as an inexpensive florist/grocery store item. Best value is to use it with memories of your mother.

That was a bad guess on my part because my mom has pounds of milk glass items in her china cabinet. My mom gave her a lot of milk glass but my mom inherited it back from my grandma when she passed away. Rob

I will have to wait until she passes away to use it. Thank you for the assistance. Rob
