Can someone help me to identify the author of this fruit bowl and find something similar online? It looks like it’s made of bronze but I’m not 100% sure.
There’s signature as well, but I don’t know if I read it properly, I can see “W. Paul dep.”
    Thanks in advance!

Dep is short for déposé, French for registered, which means it was made in a French speaking part of the world. My guess would be either France or Belgium.
I am sure some of the others will be able to tell you more.

Love the scene inside of an angry satyr chasing off a couple of putti who are stealing his grapes. Looks like 'Paul' to me too, maybe only because it's been put in my mind. AJ is right as usual about the meaning of 'dep'.

I see "Parel" (possibly "Tarel") but don't know what to search on to research that further.

Parel is Dutch for pearl. It can also be a surname.
It is probably used in other languages with a different meaning.

I wonder what the metal is? Maybe call it a tazza?

Yes, tazza would be the name, imo.

My question is more, who would make this? A sculptor? A medallist? A factory worker? Is this a foundry name?

I do not know any of those things. :bucktooth:
