hi guys, can anyone give me any details about this little three inch fella

i think hes either a town crier, or just full of himself, maybe both, perhaps it goes hand in hand !

marked BB on base (cant find anything similar)

probably not worth much, but he's hard to describe, studio pottery line ?

Thank you for posting the cutest thing I have seen in weeks, charlie.:) He is adorable, and he is welcome to shout his news in in my street anytime.
He could be a one off, or maybe part of a series of local characters.

The outfit is Elizabethan, rather than a town crier.

Aj, perhaps he could come over and just recite shakespeare ?, might be even better

It wouldn't work in our town, the drunken yobs would throw things at him !

The bonnet is Elizabethan, too. Think Beefeater style hat. My first thought was chorister. I do think he was made by an amateur.

Maybe your tie can distract them, so your little Elizabethan/Shakespearean guy can get on with whatever he is doing.

He's a colourful little fellow. I've never seen anything similar [not that that counts for a whole lot:)]. Didn't town criers carry a bell?
