Featured FUNTIK STYLE

    I found this at the Museum of decorative arts. They announced master-classes in "funtik" technique. I had no idea what is funtik but I found out that is painting on fabric with oil paints. This technique imitates ebroidery stitches (I do not know the word for this kind of embroidery, maybe somebody will tell me). As in this kind of embroidery thread is put closely to another thread, here stroke is put closely to another stroke. As a result it looks like embroidery.

    That is so beautiful, Natasha. Yes, it looks like embroidery, satin stitch is the term you were looking for.
