I looked through every Furnival pattern on Replacements & saw nothing that came even close to this pattern. Does anyone have a clue as to the pattern name? It measures 8 1/2" by 6 1/4".

Usually those boxes indicate a late 1800's production. If you search Aesthetic transferware you should see examples of similar wares. Given the motif I suspect it was some type of a platter from a fish set. Fish sets were not always part of a larger pattern. It's a lovely piece.

Edit: one more thought: It might be the underplate to a sauce bowl. These were frequently included in a fish set.

The pattern was just intriguing & the price was cheap so I figured why not give it a shot. :D:D
