G.A.R. 1905 Medallion, Silver

There are many of these medallions in bronze on EBay. I can’t find any on the web anywhere that were made in silver like this one. I’d like to know how many non-bronze medallions were made, and their value. I’ve asked a couple of Civil War militaria dealers who did not know.

Thanks, that may be what I have, guess I’ll have to test for specific gravity to tell if mine is silver or silver plated.

 

Must be an issue with UK or UK providers, in the US at least I think anyone can view the linked photo without being a member. I did try and upload directly but got “image was too large.” But I’ll try shrinking them, I used to do that routinely but moved to FLICKR.
