Featured G.D. Thyaga Raj Watercolor Landscape with Oxen & Carts

    This is one of a number of paintings I have picked up at thrift stores in the last couple of weeks. I though I would post it because it is a neat looking painting and I had never heard of the artist before. I like the way the dust is kicking up from the carts. There was a notation on the back of the frame that said August 1969. Apparently the artist was born in India in 1930 and worked in California.     Nice, those have weathered better than mine. The colors and the contrast are better.
