    Hi,
This seemed like a good category to post these items - I just purchased this GE Electronics wood case with a bunch of tubes inside. Most of them are still wrapped up inside the box, look like they have never been out of the boxes. Would they still be good? Is there a way to test them? Also includes a Marconi manual from 1952.
    Any information appreciated.
    thanks for looking

NICE! Probably all good but testing them.....
I've had opportunities to get machines but never took one.
It think, like many things, there are more valuable tubes than others.

The case is worth $15 on a good day

The type/brand of tube is paramount to value. Any of them where the tube does not match the box brand are likely the old tube put in the new box. A photo of the box tops or a list of types would help in valuation.

    Thanks KOT and terry.
I'll check them out and post photos if they match. I'd sell the box locally, the cost of shipping would be crazy high from Canada.

Guess I won't be needing help on these - a fellow just bought the works for $75.

Yup, in and out the door works for me, plus I bought a bunch of other stuff to sort through.

May be someone who has a lot of tubes and wanted more and the box. :)
    Possibly a radio collector/repair person.

He seemed pretty happy to find them - he checked out the tubes/boxes and several were used but the rest he thought were good. He is always buying and selling at the flea market so hopefully he will make some money on them.
