Geo Hamilton oil painting help with any information please

    Hello All,
    I have this George Hamilton oil painting which measures approximately 30"w x 40"h, minus the frame. Have tried web searches and found George Hamilton but not this particular painting. I'm curious of when it was painted and approximate value and any other information about it. Thanks M77 IMG_2434.jpg

    Thanks for your comments, I'm a bit ignorant when comes to art. I assume Matisse is an artist pre dating Hamilton?

    Henri Matisse was major French artist, 1st half 20th C. His paintings are worth millions. Famous. Very influential.

    you'll have to search auctions, or any web sites offering his artworks to come up with a fair market value.....
