German Cartridge Case now Telescoped Trench Art

    75mm antitank Gun, was 28” long x about 3.5” dia. American troops of 3rd Infantry Div.. (The COA of unit is stamped onto case) crushed them into Christmas 1945 souvenirs. Present length about 10”. German headstamp Marks can be seen on base, with G.I.’s having X’ed out the Eagle/swastika symbol. Made of cartridge brass, chrome plated, base about 3.5” dia.
