German shepherd figurine

    Ok people, one to solve, German Shepherd Figurine, solid heavy metal but not lead, overall lg 70mm, overall hgt 40mm, width 18mm.
    Painted or plated silver i wouldnt know but underneath there is the print BU e MANION (at least thats what i can make of it)
    So who or what is MANION, any clues please.

    Welcome Peter. Interesting item, but it's hard to see the detail. One trick I learned early when taking photographs, is not to hold my breath. When you hold your breath your hands may shake.

    Sorry Peter, I don’t see any of the writing. If you are using a cell phone, you can set it on top of something stationery, higher than the object, then click the picture.

    I used to have some critter made out of that material. As I recall, it was rather like pewter, painted with some kind of very shiny silver -- shiny the way silver lustre is shiny...

    I think thats it, pewter is possibly it. I have 2 smaller ones about 1/2" on the dash of my car & they are pewter, although faded & tainted from the sun.
