German Silver 800/ Marks : Germany and EWC. Need help identifying, please.

    Hi guys,

    I have this German Silver piece. Please see photos attached. Does anyone know what the markings mean and who it's made by?

    The EWC is just the owner's monogram, has nothing to do with maker.

    looks like an Italian fake. wrong crown, crescent moon and master mark missing, 800 in Italian style and probably a silverplated casting.
