Featured Gilded Platter

    From the look and feel of it my working assumption is English soft paste, maybe late 18th or early 19th c.

    I’d think you’re right on that. Underplate for a tureen possibly. Lovely gilding.

    Lovely item and great photos!
    That center gold circle does give the impression that it's an underplate of some sort rather than a serving platter.
    What size is the piece?

    I measured it out to 11" l x 8.5" w.
