gilded representation of the prophet Elijah on wood board

Hello friends,
Forgive my incompetence;
this gilded representation of the prophet Elijah on wood board,
from your point of view, is it Christian, or Orthodox?
In Judaism, in Christianity, in Islam?
There are some writings on the painting, and the German text on the back does not help me, because some words are corroded.
I would also like to be able to go back to the dating of the work.

Says it's copied from the best of 14th century icons in collaboration with Greek artists & museums. Think Greek Orthodox Church can be understood.

What approximate dating would you attribute to this work?

 

It's a modern copy is about all that counts. Artificially aged, so...? The label looks as though the name of the subject was filled in the blank using a typewriter, so that's some indication.

These copies are wonderful works of art in themselves. I always buy them when I see them and yours is a beauty. It is probably from the 1970's, don't know if these are still produced - the artists that produced them were very skilled.
