    Thank you for the nice welcome! I love the interaction between members--you seem to be a close group!
    I became interested in antiques because my family owned a cottage in an old summers-only resort where cottages were (maybe still are) sold furnished. So many interesting things!! I especially love hidden drawers because my grandmother's cottage had a dresser with a spring-released hidden drawer. And one time the library put out a note that someone had donated a book with a carved out inside and a necklace hidden in it! Stuff of childhood dreams.
    I would collect a lot more, but I have a grumpy minimalist husband. Probably a good thing.
