    Hello

This glass bead necklace has me stumped, I searched high and low online but can't find anything similar. It has a frosted/matte appearance but I can't think of the right word for it.

Beads are quite large, measure 1.8cm at the widest point.

    Thanks for looking

You're sure they're glass? Cold and clinky?

    I'm with Owned.
    They don't look like glass.

They look like that baked clay people were doing in the late 1980s and 1990s.

That was my thought, that clay craft stuff.

Yours look like individually made lampwork beads, in satin/frosted glass. Obviously different beads, but there are some similarities to this example described as "Vintage Czech glass beads lampwork satin glass with aventurine necklace":

Look like glass to me but wdik...Glass should be somewhat translucent if you hold them up behind a bright light source. Clay would be opaque and not pass any light through.

I finally got round to checking these again. No light gets through at all, so must be polymer clay. Thanks all for the education.
