Glass bottles

    Hi everyone I’ve googled how to see how old a glass milk bottle is but I’ve got confused with it all. I just found this outside so may not be very old. The markings in order are

    1516 B 568ml 15mm 3 (I think may be a backwards E) 8 (Then a e in a circle)


    Does anyone understand this?

    I have attached photos which aren’t the best so I do apologise. Thank you for all your help.

    568 milliliters.... more than half a liter......strange..

    maybe an English 20 oz milk bottle.......lots still being made...

    Its a pint bottle that has been used for decades.
    It certainly won't be old if it has ML's on it.
    Many Dairies in the UK had their own designs made.

    We don't use fluid ounces here, that is from the stone age.:hilarious:

    You posted about a beer bottle from 1984 a while back.
    These bottles are not old or antique.
