I bid on this today on auction and am super surprised I won!
The lot came with an Edward VIII glass, commemorating the planned coronation,
and another little millefiori glass that I have no idea about.
The site wouldn't let me copy the pics, I'll share the others when I receive them.
The house claimed they were all from Whitefriars. Probably a million of these knocking around in the UK but not many here.

Sorry, it wouldn't let me copy and paste the pic of the Queen Elizabeth II glass.
I don't know how to remove the post. Pic to come later.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Have you ever done the "Screenshot" option?? When your cursor is ON the image, then RIGHT click, and more and more the Screenshot option is right there!!!!

OR you can click 'ctrl' then 'del' and you can get a shot of your WHOLE computer screen....then edit it down to just what you wanted!

You can't; only a mod can. But there's really no reason not to just leave it until you can add pix.

I think one thing that can cause problems is if the photo leads to a hyperlink. Following Aqui's suggestion about taking a screen shot might get around this. If you are using a PC, the PrtScn key takes a full-screen pic & saves to clipboard. There are definitely ways to get around the problem.

Thank you. I'm on a desktop and Jeffrey Evans auction won't allow me to capture the pic. This is as good as I can get for now. Not sure if the little one is commemorative as well, or just something they threw in?

    Oooh, pretty!
I was expecting something more mundane, like what I have:

Those are definitely more than a cut above typical royal schlock. Think the little cup was just added in as another example of colorless glass with color accents, not commemorative in any way.

Personally, I rather love tacky royal stuff. Have a cheap mug from the marriage of Andrew & Fergie. A regular Will & Kate collection: a small throw pillow; a pen; a shopping tote; a t-shirt that says something like "Will & Kate, kissing in a tree..." Another t-shirt from QE II's 25th, silver jubilee. A rather hideous color combo of red on mustard yellow, with the design printed off center. Purchased at the little shop in Rockefeller Center, underneath 30 Rock, that was surely the inspiration for the running Saturday Night Live sketch of the store that sold only Scotch tape & never made any sales. The real place sold only things from Scotland. The proprietors were an elderly couple, the embodiment of 'dour', who both stood, waiting, behind the counter, very forbidding looking. Thought they would brighten up when I went in, but nooo.

I went ice skating at Rockefeller Center and when it was summer, I had lunch with my mom where the rink was.

Sold for £22?! How dare they! Mine were 75 USD including BP. I don't think anyone else bid, which really surprised and delighted me.
I love bluumz collection, and Bronwen's tacky and fantastic collection too!

Thanks for the kind words, Lucille.b. Hopefully the little one turns out to be, well, not a dud. I just found out it may be a whole month until I get them!

They are all beautiful!! We will, of course, expect a full disclosure when they do arrive!! ;):smuggrin:

On a totally different note, I had never heard of this auction house before last week. I saw a post on Facebook about part of someone's perfume bottle collection was being sold by that auction house. I took a look at them, but nothing wowed me & after what I did back on February 1st, I need to stick to finding bargains on eBay. :p:rolleyes::smug::smug::smug::hilarious:

Thanks bercrystal! I will be pleased to show them off!
Jeff Evans auction house specializes in glass. Unfortunately, (for me), collectors that haunt the site have DEEP pockets. I've bid what I could afford many times over the years, and this is the first time I've actually won!
I admired Queen Elizabeth II. I'm thrilled to have these.
