Featured Glass dish Turkish maybe

I picked this up yesterday. I thought it would be easy to ID but no. Google lens can't get a grip of it even if I add text search terms such as glass and dish. It just keeps coming up with results of silk scarves, cloisonne items and mosaics, even though the AI results call it glass. It's around 20cm sq. It looks Turkish to me and the foil is laminated between two layers of glass. It appears to have a signature

It was also found in a shop where a lot of judaica is donated.

 

Somewhere I have a dish very similar. I always called it the "handkerchief" dish because that's what it looks like to me. I never knew the history because it's something my mother picked up when they had their second hand store. Now I've got to find it and look for a siggie.
