    Good afternoon.

These pieces were in a mixed auction lot yesterday. Image searches have given me a few clues although nothing definitive. Can you help?

This is 16cm tall. Indications are that it may be Murano.

IMG_9679.jpeg IMG_9678.jpeg This is 22cm tall. Image searches came up with three suggestions.

the top one looks based on roman glass, theres a few similar looking murano ones with the lion head applique but the base looks wrong for them

seems to be referred to as scavo glass

"made using the 'scavo' technique, giving the glass a cloudy, dusty finish almost as if it's been excavated. The technique originated on the small Venetian island of Murano, where artisans have been developing and refining their techniques for many centuries."

A few studios now producing scavo style glass. The prunts suggest Italian. Hard to tell if it's an original or in the style of as the style seems popular.

I've never been fond of the texture of "Roman" glass...sharp at the micro, an' often at the macro level.
The green one, now...that's a horse of a different color! It's very attractive, John...Thanks!

I think that it’s most likely an original as the other pieces in the lot all have some age . For example this Murano dolphin ewer. IMG_9701.jpeg
