This is probably part of a larger set, and I haven't been able to find anything close. It's about 3" tall & 3" long on the flat side. I'm not sure what to call the pattern. The only thing that comes to mind is "fluted". Does anyone recognize?

Thanks & hope everyone has a great weekend!

I didn't think about it possibly being for salt. I'll add that to my search terms.

One other thing - I thought to check it with my blacklight earlier, and it glows a bright yellow (for what it's worth...).

That color indicates its made from lime glass, the most common type today.

I am wondering if it is part of set that would sit on a vanity table. That is what came to mind when I first saw it. BWDIK.
