I have found nothing like this. I thought it was a tumble up but its quite heavy. Perhaps a liquor decanter? No signatures and absolutley no idea of age or maker. If you can help at all it would be so appreciated. It is 6 3/4" tall, 5" diameter. It was suggested that the flower is possibly thistle but I don't think it is. Thanks!! tumbleup.jpg tumbleup1.jpg tumbleup2.jpg

I looked at this earlier. Couldn't find anything in McCain or a couple of other books.

I think you are correct that it was a tumble up. A decanter would have been ground inside.

From the pictures, I think it is EAPG time period. May not have been from a table pattern. Something marketed as an accessory.

Can you tell what the flower is?
    Panelled floral.
    Panelled ?

I've looked at this off and on today, and like cluttered haven't found anything like it online or in my limited resources. As to being a thistle pattern like someone suggested, I couldn't find a thistle like this. I think it may be an assortment of flowers?
